Dear Sir/Madam,

Ref: [Insert your account number]

As I have not yet heard from you in response to my letter relating to default charges applied to my account, I am now writing to inform you that unless I receive a satisfactory proposal for settlement of my outstanding claims totalling £[Insert total sum of the charges you wish to reclaim] from you within the next 14 days I intend to issue a claim against you in the county court for the full amount owed plus interest and any court fees I incur as part of the proceedings.

For your reference I have attached full details of these charges and a copy of my earlier letter.

Attach a copy of your earlier letter and a list of charges made to your account including the date on which the charge was applied and the exact amount. You will also need to keep a copy of both for yourself.

I look forward to receiving your response.

Yours faithfully
